The PIM centre of Excellence on July 31, 2024 hosted a team from the Zambian Ministry of Finance. The team, accompanied by officials from Uganda’s Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED) was in the country to learn from the centre how to boost their capacity in Public Investment Management, appraisal of projects and Proposal writing. Prof. Eria Hisali shared with the visiting team, led my Ms Ireen Mwanda, about the three trainings the centre conducts. The Basic PIM training, Financial Appraisal & Risk Analysis as well as Economic Appraisal & Stakeholder Analysis. The Zambian team was invited to send officers to undertake this training.
